If you are building a deep link to search results in order to deliver a set of providers to your member, you may want to apply filters to the search results from within the URL. Note that you can include more than one filter in a deep link; however, each filter needs to be listed separately in the URL using the filters parameter (&filters=FILTERNAME%253A).
Deep links to search results with filters applied are most often created to deliver a list of providers of a specific type or specialty, with additional parameter elements applied to the search results to facilitate the member search experience.

This example showcases the Doctors by specialty search option with no specific specialty defined, but the Ultrasound Area of Focus filter applied. Creating a deep link without also including a location or product/plan selection parameter will force the user to identify those variables before the search results will be presented.
