Search for Providers | Traffic Source Detail

This dashboard, titled "Search for Providers | Traffic Source Detail," provides a deep dive into how users arrive at the "Search for Providers" feature and how their behavior (engagement and conversions) differs based on these origins. It's designed to help you understand the specific sources driving your traffic and their effectiveness.

Understanding the Data Presented This dashboard offers detailed metrics on session engagement and conversion based on UTM parameters or referrer information. It provides a comparison of outcomes between a "current period" and a "prior period". By default, the "current period" covers the last 30 complete days, and the "prior period" is the time frame immediately preceding it. The data is initially presented with a weekly granularity, but this can be adjusted.

Dashboard Sections and How to Use Them

Session Outcome Metrics by Traffic Grouping: This primary section presents a comparative view of engagement and conversion rates, along with session volumes, for both the current and prior periods. You can choose to group your traffic data either by the referrer (the website or URL that directed the user to your site) or by individual UTM parameters (special codes added to URLs to track marketing campaign performance) using the "Group Traffic by" filter in the top filter bar.

Example grouped by Referrer:

You can also "drill into" (click on) a specific referrer or UTM value to see its metrics broken down by date.

High-Intent Engagement and Conversion Session Metrics by Traffic Grouping vs Prior: This table provides a detailed breakdown of:

  • Engagement Rate - Current and Engagement Rate - Prior: The percentage of sessions where users showed high intent (e.g., interacting with key features).
  • +/- Eng Rate: The percentage change in engagement rate between the current and prior periods.
  • Engaged Sessions - Current and Engaged Session - Prior: The raw number of sessions with high intent for both periods.
  • Conversion Rate - Current and Conversion Rate - Prior: The percentage of sessions that resulted in a conversion (e.g., an appointment scheduled or a contact form submission).
  • +/- Con Rate: The percentage change in conversion rate between the current and prior periods.
  • Converted Sessions - Current and Converted Session - Prior: The raw number of sessions that led to a conversion for both periods.

Available Filters and Their Use

The dashboard provides several filters to allow you to customize your view and focus on specific data:

  • Customer: This filter lets you select one or more specific customers to analyze their data.
  • Date: This filter defines the "current period" for the data you are viewing. The default setting is the "last 30 complete days".
  • Set Prior Period: This filter allows you to choose how the "prior period" is determined for comparison purposes. The default is "immediate prior".
  • Date Granularity: This filter controls the level of detail for the trends shown on the dashboard. You can switch between "week" (the default), "day", or "month" views.
  • Group Traffic by: This is a key filter for this dashboard, allowing you to switch the primary grouping of your traffic data between referrer (the original source website) or different UTM parameters (like source, medium, campaign). This is a required filter.
  • Channel Grouping: This filter allows you to narrow down the data to specific categories of traffic sources (e.g., organic, paid, direct).

By effectively utilizing these filters, you can gain granular insights into which specific referrers or marketing campaign efforts are most effectively driving engaged sessions and conversions within Kyruus Health's "Search for Providers" feature.
